I am beyond thankful to be doing ministry in Northwest Arkansas with my best friend and beautiful bride, Abbie! We are so very thankful that God has opened doors for us to serve with the family at the Bentonville Church. This desire to teach teens the love of Christ became even stronger after the birth of our son, Baylor. My prayer is that the teens in Bentonville will come to understand the fact that nothing can separate them from the love of Christ. My prayer is that the grace of God impacts them so much that they can’t help but share it. My prayer is that the teens here know whose they are and how that changes everything! We are imperfect, broken, and often times a wreck but we are also loved, accepted and set apart. Come grow with us!

5 Essentials of  Bentonville Youth Ministry

Our desire is to disciple teens into a deeper knowledge of who Christ is, who He calls them to be, and for their hearts to be deeply rooted in Him. Our goal for every teen interacting with our youth group is that they be encouraged, challenged and motivated to be lights in the darkness, as stated in Matthew 5:16. Before our teens graduate from high school, we pray Jesus fills them with these truths:

  1. The Bible, the Word of God, is living truth inspired by the Holy Spirit, always pointing us to Jesus Christ. Hebrews 4:12
  2. To better understand who Jesus is and how His love changes us to become more like Him. Ephesians 2:10
  3. To understand that we are new creations in Christ Jesus, the old has gone and the new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17
  4. The importance of encouraging each other in our daily walk. Hebrews 3:13
  5. The importance of renewing our mind daily to become transformed, knowing what God wants of us as we also become more aware of the lies of the enemy! Romans 12:2
